* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Southwestern Natchitoches Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

  Sabine Parish in northwestern Louisiana...

  Southeastern Shelby County in eastern Texas...

  Southeastern Angelina County in eastern Texas...

  Southern San Augustine County in eastern Texas...

  Sabine County in eastern Texas...



* Until 1230 AM CDT.



* At 1141 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line

  extending from 6 miles northeast of Zwolle to 11 miles southeast of

  Milam to near Harrisburg, moving east at 40 mph.



  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 

           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 

           roofs, and outbuildings.



* Locations impacted include...

  Natchitoches, Milam, Many, Zwolle, Hemphill, Pineland, Rosevine,

  Zavalla, Florien, Provencal, Huxley, Noble, Fisher, Broaddus,

  Robeline, Kisatchie, Belmont, Bronson, McElroy, and Yellowpine.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly

from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the

basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.



For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a

building.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for eastern Texas.

A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for

northwestern Louisiana.
