* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Northeastern Galveston County in southeastern Texas...

  Southeastern Chambers County in southeastern Texas...



* Until 545 AM CDT.



* At 530 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near High Island,

  or 15 miles south of Hamshire, moving southeast at 20 mph.



  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to 

           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.



* Locations impacted include...

  High Island, Stowell, and Bolivar Peninsula.
