* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...

  Central Galveston County in southeastern Texas...



* Until 545 AM CDT.



* At 531 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Bayou Vista,

  or near Galveston Causeway, moving southeast at 15 mph.



  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to 

           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.



* Locations impacted include...

  Galveston Causeway, Texas City, La Marque, Hitchcock, Bayou Vista,

  and Tiki Island.
