  Northwestern Shawnee County in east central Kansas...

  East central Pottawatomie County in northeastern Kansas...

  Southern Jackson County in northeastern Kansas...



* Until 600 PM CDT.



* At 522 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Emmett,

  moving east at 35 mph.



  HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 

           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 

           considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to 

           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.



* Locations impacted include...

  Northern Topeka, St. Marys, Hoyt, Mayetta, Emmett, Delia, and

  Potawatomi Reservation.
