SITUATION At 0600 UTC a Tropical Low was centred within 25 nautical miles of latitude eleven decimal nine south (11.9S) longitude one hundred and nineteen decimal four east (119.4E) Recent movement : south at 7 knots Maximum winds : 25 knots Central pressure: 1003 hPa The low is expected to develop into a tropical cyclone in the next 18 to 24 hours. AREA AFFECTED Within 40 nautical miles in NE quadrant and within 50 nautical miles in SE quadrant and within 50 nautical miles in SW quadrant FORECAST Maximum winds to 25 knots near the centre increasing to 35 knots by 1800 UTC 05 April and to 40 knots by 0600 UTC 06 April. From 1800 UTC 05 April winds above 34 knots within 50 nautical miles in SE quadrant and within 50 nautical miles in the SW quadrant From 0600 UTC 06 April winds above 34 knots within 50 nautical miles in SE quadrant and within 50 nautical miles in the SW quadrant and within 40 nautical miles in the NE quadrant with rough seas and moderate swell.
