The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  Northeastern Wakulla County in Big Bend Florida...

  Leon County in Big Bend Florida...



* Until 730 AM EDT.



* At 650 AM EDT, tornado producing storms were located along a line

  extending from near Midway to 14 miles southwest of Tallahassee

  Community College, moving east at 45 mph.



  HAZARD...Damaging tornado.



  SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.



* These tornadic storms will be near...

  Tallahassee around 655 AM EDT.

  Florida State University, Tallahassee Community College, and Doak 

  Campbell Stadium around 700 AM EDT.

  Florida A and M around 705 AM EDT.

  Woodville around 710 AM EDT.



Other locations impacted by these tornadic storms include Lake

Bradford, Leon Sinks, Gaither Community Center, Wakulla Springs,

Tallahassee Memorial Hosp, Walker Ford Community Center, South City,

Eight Mile Pond, Griffin Heights, and Bethel.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a

basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy

building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in

a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect

yourself from flying debris.



To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.

They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in

Tallahassee.
