The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a



* Tornado Warning for...

  Southwestern Jefferson Davis Parish in southwestern Louisiana...

  Southeastern Calcasieu Parish in southwestern Louisiana...



* Until 515 PM CDT.



* At 448 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado

  was located over Lake Charles, moving east at 45 mph.



  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.



  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 

           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 

           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 

           damage is likely.



* This dangerous storm will be near...

  Lake Charles, Iowa, and Holmwood around 455 PM CDT.



Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include

Lacassine and Bell City.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 23 and 53.

 Interstate 210 between mile markers 1 and 12.
