...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM PDT THIS

AFTERNOON ABOVE 5000 FEET...



* WHAT...Snow above 5000 feet. Additional snow accumulations of 8

  to 10 inches.



* WHERE...Portions of the southern Oregon Cascades and Siskiyou 

  Mountains above 5000 feet. This includes Crater Lake, Diamond 

  Lake, Willamette Pass, and Mt. Ashland.



* WHEN...Until 2 PM PDT this afternoon.



* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and periods of

  reduced visibilities.



* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest snowfall rates expected through

  this morning when 1 inch per hour rates are likely (70%-90%) and

  could bring periods of limited visibilities. Recent warm 

  temperatures will likely delay and diminish accumulations on 

  paved road surfaces. Amounts will be highest in the high 

  country, above 6500 feet.
