MDT SATURDAY NIGHT...



* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 

  3 feet possible along and east of the Continental Divide. Total 

  snow accumulations between 6 and 12 inches possible west of the 

  Continental Divide and in Summit County. Heaviest snow expected 

  above 9,500 feet.



* WHERE...Rocky Mountain National Park and the Medicine Bow Range, 

  and The Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito Range, and the 

  Indian Peaks.



* WHEN...From 9 PM this evening to midnight MDT Saturday Night. 

  Heaviest snow is expected Saturday morning.



* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel 

  could be very difficult to impossible.

  Range Foothills.



* WHEN...From 3 AM Saturday to 6 AM MDT Sunday. Heaviest snow 

  Saturday morning, but continuing throughout the day.



* IMPACTS...Travel may become very difficult to impossible due to 

  heavy snowfall on roadways. Additionally, the heavy and wet snow 

  could damage trees.
