The areas affected include...

  Fire Island Inlet to Moriches Inlet NY out 20 NM...
  Moriches Inlet to Montauk Point NY out 20 NM...
  Long Island South Shore Bays...

At 551 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated gusty showers, capable of 
producing winds to around 30 knots. These showers were located along 
a line extending from near Great South Bay to 10 nm northeast of 
Buoy 44025, moving northeast at 20 knots.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
