The areas affected include...

  The open waters 20 to 40 nm S of Moriches Inlet to Montauk Point 
NY...

At 208 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated a thunderstorm, capable of 
producing small hail. This thunderstorm was located 36 nm S of 
Shinnecock Inlet, moving NE at 15 kt. 

This thunderstorm will remain over the open waters. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners in the path of this thunderstorm can expect lightning 
strikes and small hail.
