...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM EDT...

For the following areas...
Coastal waters from Manasquan Inlet to Little Egg Inlet NJ out 20
nm...
Coastal waters from Sandy Hook to Manasquan Inlet NJ out 20 nm...

At 207 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts
was located near Barnegat Light, moving northeast at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and small hail.

SOURCE...Buoy. At 2:05 PM, Barnaget Inlet Light reported a gust of 
         41 kt.

IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally 
         hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly 
         higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
Barnegat Light, Garden State North Reef, Ship Bottom, Seaside Park,
Manasquan Inlet, Barnegat Light Reef, Axel Carlson Reef, Harvey
Cedars, Forked River, Lavallette, Point Pleasant Beach, and North
Beach Haven.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.
