Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from Craig Key to Halfmoon Shoal
out 20 nm...
Bay and Gulf Side from Craig Key to Halfmoon Shoal out to 5
fathoms...
Gulf of Mexico including Dry Tortugas and Rebecca Shoal Channel...

At 1032 AM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists reported a 
line of growing cumulus and embedded showers that may have the 
potential to create waterspouts... These showers were located along 
a line extending from 8 nm north of Horseshoe Key to Stock Island to 
Twenty-Eight Foot Shoal Light. The showers were nearly stationary.

Locations that will be affected include...
Big Pine Shoal, Annette Key, Vandenberg, Howe Key, East Sambo,
Bonefish Tower, and Tennessee Reef Light.

Prepare for thunderstorms with wind gusts near 30 knots, locally
rough and confused seas, occasional lightning strikes, and
potentially blinding downpours. Get to a safe port as quickly, and as
safely as possible. When downpours reduce visibility, slow down.

Environmental conditions favor waterspout formation. A waterspout
would most likely appear beneath a dark, flat bottom of a building
cumulus line, just at the hint of rain. If you see a waterspout, stay
away, and call in the report to your Florida Keys National Weather
Service, at 3 0 5 2 9 5 1 3 1 6 extension 3.
