At 707 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated an area of showers developing 
over the northeast foothills of the Sacramento Valley, near 
Shingletown. This area of showers will be moving to the northeast at 
20 to 30 mph towards Burney, Lassen National Park and Mineral 
through 8 pm. 

Other showers are developing in the northern Sacramento Valley from 
near Red Bluff to Redding, and may also move over the northeast 
foothills and into western Plumas and eastern Shasta Counties 
through 830 pm. 

Isolated thunderstorms may occur briefly this evening with some of 
the stronger cells.
