At 218 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated scattered showers and 
isolated thunderstorms moving east across the New York City 
metropolitan area and points just north, moving east at 20 mph. the 
heaviest of these could produce a quick half inch of rain and cause 
localized ponding of water in areas hard hit by heavy rain yesterday 
into this morning. 

Locations that could be impacted include... 
Newark, Jersey City, Jamaica, Yonkers, Paterson, Elizabeth, 
Stamford, Flatbush, New Rochelle, Flushing, Passaic, Bayonne, 
Brentwood, White Plains and Mott Haven.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
