Heavy rain has ended and snow levels are below 7000 feet. However, 
minor flooding will continue in the Carson Valley into Tuesday.

High flows will continue along the Truckee River at Reno due to
releases from Prosser Creek Reservoir. These releases must be made
to clear flood control space in the reservoir. The releases are made
in compliance with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requirements for the
operation of the reservoir.

These river forecasts are based on forecast precipitation and
temperature conditions at time of issuance. If actual conditions vary
from these forecasts...river conditions will vary accordingly. River
forecasts include current and planned reservoir releases.

* At 7:30 PM Monday the stage was 12.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will slowly fall through Wednesday.
* Impact...At 13.0 feet...Monitoring Stage...no flooding occurs.  
  However...residents along the West Fork Carson River should be 
  prepared for flooding if there are additional rises due to snowmelt
  and/or rainfall runoff.
