The runoff from the heavy rain has caused a significant rise on the river. The river is expected to remain near bankfull tonight, and fall during the day on Sunday. Additional heavy rains may cause rapid rises on the river as more precipitation is expected late Sunday and Sunday night. For the North Fork Of The Red River at Shamrock 2N. * Latest stage: 9.0 feet at 09 PM Saturday. * Flood stage: 10.0 feet. * Bankfull stage: 9.0 feet. At 10.0 feet...Water begins to spread out over the 0.2 mile floodplain. Cattle grazing in flood plain should have access to higher ground.
