...Ice buildup on the Snake River near Weiser is causing river
levels to fluctuate...

Persistent cold temperatures have caused significant ice buildup on
the Snake River along the Idaho and Oregon border near Weiser. The
ice is causing fluctuations in the river level.  

Temperatures are expected to remain cold across the lower Treasure
Valley through the weekend, and become even colder next week. This
will keep the river ice in place and could lead to greater river
fluctuations and ice jamming. 

Ice jamming is very unpredictable and can develop with little
notice. Persons with interests adjacent to the Snake River along the
Oregon and Idaho border near Weiser should monitor the river ice
and be prepared for changing river conditions. Docks, pumps, and low
lying areas adjacent to the river may be impacted.
