...Above bankfull but below flood stage levels were observed along 
the Colorado River...

High flows out of Deep Creek have raised river levels on the 
Colorado River at Colorado City this morning.  River levels are 
expected to fall throughout the day.

For the Colorado River at Colorado City 1WSW
* The latest stage was 12.32 feet.
* Impacts at 12.0 feet The river overflows its banks.  This will 
  result in some minor flooding of ranch land and fence posts. 
  Ranchers should move livestock out of the flood plain to higher 
  ground.  No structures are threatened at this stage.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
