Regional radar mosaic and surface observations depict a complex of heavy thunderstorms which were gradually translating eastward across portions of Florida, southeastern Georgia, and eastern South Carolina in the warm sector of the system, ahead of the approaching cold front and behind the warm front. The trailing cold front will push offshore of the Southeast overnight tonight, bringing an end to heavy rainfall in the Southeast.
