A trough noted over the central bering sea out of another low near Cold bay. High pressure seen in the high Arctic. Snow noted at Barter island with rain and snow mixed at Koliganek. Rain reported over the eastern chain St paul island the gulf coast and the entire southeast. Gusty winds of 26 mph seen at Golovin with 36 mph winds noted at Atka. 26 to 35 mph bursts occurred along the panhandle. Morning lows ranged from -8 at Nuiqsut and Barter island to 46 at Ketchikan. The North slope clings to winter with all sites +1 or colder. -8 to +1 in fact. 10 to 23 in the Northwest Arctic with 19 to 32 on the Seward peninsula south to the Yukon delta. In the interior, north of Fairbanks, -3 to +5. Elsewhere 12 to 27. Southwest Alaska and the chain showed mid 20s to upper 30s. In the Alaska range 17 to 23 with 26 to 40 elsewhere in South central.
