Recent rainfall has resulted in a rise on the Rifle River. 
Additional rainfall is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday, which 
may result in minor flooding. The Rifle River is currently forecast 
to rise to minor flood stage Thursday morning before cresting 
Thursday night into early Friday morning.
The National Weather Service in Gaylord will closely monitor river 
levels...and will issue additional statements or warnings as 
conditions warrant.
