Scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon along a cold front that will continue to sweep southeast across the area. A few of these storms will likely become severe, with large hail and damaging winds being the main severe weather threats. A very low but non-zero tornado threat may also develop across far eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The severe weather threat is expected to end by near or shortly after sunset. Gusty north winds will follow the passage of the cold front, with gusts over 30 miles an hour possible across parts of northeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas.
