.DISCUSSION...An incoming disturbance will bring widespread
showers and thunderstorms to much of southern Nevada and Northwest
Arizona on Friday...with more isolated activity expected further
west. Wetting rains will be possible in the higher terrain...with
snow levels generally above 7000 feet. Breezy conditions are
likely as well, with the strongest winds in the Western Mojave
Desert with gusts over 40 mph through Friday evening. Drier
conditions return Saturday with temperatures warming heading into
early next week.
