...Elevated Fire Weather Conditions Expected This Afternoon...

Weather conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread in
wildland fuels, including grasses and shrubs.

WHERE: Sublette and Sweetwater Counties

WHEN: This afternoon, between 12pm and 7pm. 

RELATIVE HUMIDITY: An 80% chance to be as low as 10-18 percent. 

WIND: West 15 to 25 mph, with gusts to 40 mph. About a 60% chance
for gusts to 50 mph for eastern half of Sweetwater County. 

TEMPERATURE: Mid to upper 60s, about 10 degrees above normal.
Low 60s into northern Sublette County. 

IMPACT: Fire and emergency officials should be aware that weather
conditions will be favorable for the development of significant 
wind-driven grass and shrub fires.
