An exiting cold, unstable low pressure system will allow for
thunderstorm chances to persist through this afternoon. These 
thunderstorms will be capable of producing cloud-to-ocean 
lightning, copious amounts of small hail, locally heavy rainfall 
and gusty winds across the southern coastal waters and Monterey 
Bay.
