The National Weather Service in Phoenix has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Maricopa County in south central Arizona...
  Pinal County in southeastern Arizona...

* Until 515 AM MST.
    
* At 443 AM MST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over San Tan Village Mall, or near Gilbert, moving east
  at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  Maricopa and Pinal Counties, including the following locations...
  Higley.

* This includes the following highways...
  US Highway 60 between mile markers 189 and 199.
  AZ Route 202 between mile markers 30 and 42.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

This Tornado Warning replaces the Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued
for the same area.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
