  forecast. This approaches the flood of record.

* WHERE...Black River near Galesville.

* WHEN...Until early Tuesday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:00 AM CDT Friday the stage was 14.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 7:00 AM CDT Friday was 14.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.3
    feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
    Monday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    15.5 feet on 09/23/1980.
