.Recent rain and snowfall have allowed water levels to rise to 
record levels in Au Train Lake and along the Au Train River. At 
least 200 structures have reported impacts. Additional flooding 
impacts are possible.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by recent rain and snowmelt is ongoing.

* WHERE...A portion of central Upper Michigan, including the 
  following county, Alger.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Structures are 
  flooded and sand bagging operations are continuing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 410 PM EDT, emergency management reported flooding from
    recent rain and snowmelt in the warned area. Flooding is
    already occurring.
  - Flows out of the Forest Lake Dam are decreasing, but water
    levels remain high.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Au Train and Forest Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
