...The National Weather Service in Paducah KY has issued a Flood 
Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...

  Little Wabash River at Carmi

.Runoff from recent heavy rain and additional forecast rainfall will 
cause the Little Wabash River at Carmi to rise into minor flood 
stage. The river will reach minor flood stage late Friday night and 
crest near 28.9 feet Tuesday morning.

For the Little Wabash River...including Carmi...Minor flooding is 
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHERE...Little Wabash River at Carmi.

* WHEN...From late Friday night until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, The inundation of county roads begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 18.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    early Saturday morning and continue rising to a crest of 28.9
    feet Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.
