...The National Weather Service in Pocatello ID has issued a Flood 
Warning for the following rivers in Idaho...

  Portneuf River at Topaz affecting Bannock County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive 
cars through flooded areas.

...FLOOD WARNING FOR SNOWMELT IN EFFECT FROM THIS AFTERNOON UNTIL 
FURTHER NOTICE...
...REPLACES RIVER FLOOD ADVISORY...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of 
  record.

* WHERE...Portneuf River at Topaz.

* WHEN...From this afternoon until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 4.0 feet, Lowland and crop field flooding possible 
  from Pebble Creek to Inkom.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:15 PM MDT Monday the stage was 3.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 4.1
    feet early Friday afternoon. It will then rise to 4.1 feet
    early Friday afternoon. Additional rises are possible
    thereafter.
  - Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    4.0 feet on 02/11/2007.
