...The National Weather Service in Hanford CA has issued a Flood 
Warning for the following rivers in California...

  Merced River At Happy Isles affecting Mariposa County.

For the Merced River...including Happy Isles, Pohono Bridge...Minor 
flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay tuned to further developments by listening to your local radio, 
television, or NOAA Weather Radio for further information.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Merced River At Happy Isles.

* WHEN...From late tonight to late tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Campgrounds at North Pines and Housekeeping 
  Camp begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:30 AM PDT Saturday the stage was 7.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.0
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage late tonight.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
  - Flood History...No available flood history.
