The Flood Watch is cancelled for portions of North Carolina, 
including the following areas, Alleghany NC, Ashe, Surry, Watauga, 
Wilkes and Yadkin, southwest Virginia, including the following 
areas, Bland, Carroll, Grayson, Smyth, Tazewell and Wythe, and 
southeast West Virginia, including the following area, Mercer.

Showers and storms have ended across the area. A few more showers 
and storms are possible later this evening but overall coverage is 
limited so the flood watch has been cancelled.
