...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Florida, including the following 
  county, Lee.

* WHEN...Until 515 PM EST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Water over roadways. Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 316 PM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 6 and 8 inches of rain fell yesterday.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Iona, McGregor, Lochmoor Waterway
    Estates, St. James City, Palmona Park, Punta Rassa, Saint
    James City and North Fort Myers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
