SITUATION
At 1800 UTC Tropical Cyclone Alfred was centred within 10 nautical miles of
 latitude twenty seven decimal zero south (27.0S)
 longitude one hundred and fifty three decimal three east (153.3E)
Recent movement : northwest at 5 knots
Maximum winds   : 35 knots
Central pressure: 992 hPa

AREA AFFECTED
Within 30 nautical miles in NE quadrant
  and within 25 nautical miles in SE quadrant
  and within 20 nautical miles in SW quadrant
  and within 30 nautical miles in NW quadrant.

FORECAST
Maximum winds to 35 knots near the centre decreasing to 30 knots by 0000 UTC 08
March.

Winds above 34 knots within 30 nautical miles in NE quadrant 
  and within 25 nautical miles in SE quadrant
  and within 20 nautical miles in SW quadrant
  and within 10 nautical miles in NW quadrant with rough to very rough seas and
heavy swell.
