GALE WARNING FOR SOUTHERN AREA

SITUATION AT 1200UTC
Vigorous westerly flow associated with a low 960hPa near 61S122E. Forecast low
964hPa near 62S135E at 191800UTC, low 967hPa near 61S149E at 200000UTC, low 969
hPa near 60S159E at 200600UTC and decaying thereafter.

AREA AFFECTED
Bounded by 56S118E 52S160E 57S160E 60S141E 60S127E 59S115E 56S118E.

FORECAST
Clockwise winds 35/45 knots within 600nm of low in northern semicircle. Winds
associated with this system ease below 34 knots west of 125E by 191800UTC, and
156E by 201200UTC. Very rough to high seas. Moderate to heavy swell.
