The following message is transmitted at the request of the
Kentucky State Police.

At the request of the Kentucky State Police...the Kentucky
Emergency Alert System is activated to assist in the broadcast of
an Amber Alert.

An Amber Alert has been declared...repeating...an Amber Alert has
been declared.

The biological father left with juvenile in a 1996 white Chevy 
Silverado with California plates 5 J 8 3 7 7 9 and paint peeling 
off the hood. The juvenile is a 5 year old female named Lela 
Black. She is 3 feet 6 inches, with brown hair, brown eyes, and 
forty pounds. Suspect Byron Black is a 42 year old white male, 6 
feet tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes, and brown hair. Lela was
last seen Friday, January 26 near Princeton, Kentucky. Suspect is 
considered armed and dangerous.
