...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 327 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from NEAR Mayflower to 6 miles west of Jasper.
Movement was stationary.

Torrential rainfall will continue with this cluster of storms 
through at least 4 PM. Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is likely in some 
locations...which may produce nuisance flooding of populated areas 
as well as some farm field. Pea size hail will be possible with 
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Jasper, Harrisburg, Mayflower and Farrsville. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
