...An Airport Weather Warning is in effect for Palm Springs
International Airport for wind gusts of 35 knots or greater from
8 PM to 1 AM PST... 

Strong north-northwest winds late this evening could generate
surface gusts of 35 knots or slightly above. In additional, 
periods of blowing dust with visibility limited to 1 SM will be 
possible during this period. Winds are expected to drop below 35 
knots after 1 AM Wednesday.
