Between 3 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen in the past few hours, with the greatest accumulations observed over parts of central Stone county and southern Izard county. Additional rainfall amounts of 1.5 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area over the next few hours. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
