...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 800 PM EDT FOR
CENTRAL HOWARD AND NORTHWESTERN TIPTON COUNTIES...

At 535 PM EDT, the public reported heavy rain from thunderstorms in 
Kokomo where Washington Street, south of Boulevard, is submerged in 
water. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding 
has begun.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kokomo, Russiaville and Indian Heights. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
