...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR SPENCER AND WARRICK COUNTIES...

At 1018 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain had mainly 
exited the area. However, additional showers and thunderstorms may 
impact portions of this area over the next several hours. Radar 
estimates indicate 3 to 4.5 inches occurred from Tennyson to 
Chrisney and Grandview. Water may be slow to recede across portions 
of this area. Flash Flooding remains likely.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
         highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
         drainage and low-lying areas.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Evansville, Boonville, Newburgh, Chandler, Rockport, Dale, 
  Lynnville, Grandview, Folsomville, Eureka, Santa Claus, Elberfeld, 
  Chrisney, Tennyson and Gentryville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
