...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM CDT THIS 
MORNING FOR WESTERN OKLAHOMA COUNTY...

At 554 AM CDT, trained weather spotters flash flooding in Low lying 
and poorly drained areas across Edmond and Oklahoma City. Between 2 
and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 
1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already 
occurring.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Trained spotters reported.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Oklahoma City, western Edmond, Midwest City, Del City, Bethany, 
  Warr Acres, The Village, Spencer, Nichols Hills, Tinker Air Force 
  Base, Forest Park, Lake Aluma, The Capitol and Downtown Edmond.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
