...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM CDT THIS EVENING 
FOR SOUTHEASTERN MCCULLOCH, NORTHEASTERN MASON AND SOUTHWESTERN SAN 
SABA COUNTIES...

At 659 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with light 
showers in the warned area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain fell...
From Placid to Rochelle. Up to 2 inches quickly fell from Voca, fell 
southward to Voca, Pontotoc and Fredonia and extreme Southwest San 
Saba county. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are 
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Voca, Fredonia, Pontotoc, Sloan, Camp San Saba, Rochelle, Placid, 
  Hall and Us-190 Near The Mcculloch-San Saba County Line.

FM 1028 crossing Corn Creek, FM 1121 crossing Onion Creek, FM 1851 
crossing Tiger Creek, Old Union crossing San Fernando Creek, Old 
Union crossing, Hickory Grove crossing Elm Creek, County Road 416 
crossing Onion Creek, County Road 416 crossing Little Onion Creek, 
County Road 414 crossing Little Onion Creek and crossings along 
County Road 410.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
