...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 PM CDT THIS 
AFTERNOON FOR WESTERN KIMBLE AND EASTERN SUTTON COUNTIES...

At 158 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain from justs west of Telegraph north to Cleo...moving northeast 
at 30 mph. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional 
rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. 
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Roosevelt, Telegraph, South Llano River State Park, I-10 Near The 
  Sutton-kKmble County Line, The Intersection Of Ranch Road 2596 And 
  Ranch Road 864, Cleo and Us-377 Near The Kimble-Edwards County 
  Line.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are 
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded 
roads. Find an alternate route.
