...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 815 PM CDT THIS 
EVENING FOR SOUTHERN TAYLOR COUNTY...

At 542 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy 
rain has moved east of Lawn in extreme southeast Taylor county. 
Flash flooding was reported 5 miles south of Tuscola at 520 PM on us 
83, with water running over the roadway.  Between 3 and 4.5 inches 
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches 
are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or 
expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
         flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
         urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Tuscola, Buffalo Gap, Lawn, Bradshaw, Coronados Camp, Happy 
  Valley, Camp Tonkawa, Ovalo, Lake Abilene and Shep.

FM 89 crossing Elm Creek, FM 1086 crossing Red Lake Creek, FM 89 
crossing Elm Creek, FM 89 crossing Scott Hollow, County Road 221 
crossing Spring Creek, County Road 226 crossing Cottonwood Creek,

Valley Creek, County Road 209 crossing Valley Creek and County Road 
208 crossing Spring Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
