The National Weather Service in Little Rock has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Garland County in central Arkansas...
  West Central Grant County in central Arkansas...
  Northeastern Hot Spring County in southwestern Arkansas...

* Until 145 AM CDT.

* At 1046 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin 
  shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, Malvern, Mountain Pine, 
  Rockport, Poyen, Perla, Hot Springs National Park, Lake Ouachita 
  State Park, Jenkins Ferry State Park, Magnet Cove, Lake Catherine 
  State Park, Glen Rose, Gifford, Gulpha Gorge, Mountain Valley, 
  Fenter and Buie.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
