* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Santa Cruz County in northern California...

* Until 1215 PM PDT.

* At 1114 AM PDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicate 
  that the San Lorenzo River at Big Trees is approaching Minor Flood 
  Stage. Latest gauge observation reported 16.01 feet. Flash 
  flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Santa Cruz and Felton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
