* Flash Flood Warning for...
  North Central Stanislaus County in central California...
  South Central Calaveras County in northern California...
  Tuolumne County in northern California...

* Until 615 PM PST.

* At 308 PM PST, Emergency management reported thunderstorms 
  producing heavy rain in Sonora, Jamestown, Tuolumne City. Between 
  1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is already 
  occurring.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Sonora, Springfield, Tuttletown, Chinese Camp, Vallecito, Carson 
  Hill, Angels City, Long Barn, Copperopolis, Copper Cove Village, 
  Hodson, Telegraph City, East Sonora, Jamestown, Columbia, Phoenix 
  Lake-Cedar, Phoenix Lake-Cedar Ridge, Mono Vista, Soulsbyville and 
  Tuolumne City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are 
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded 
roads. Find an alternate route.
