* Flash Flood Warning for...
  North Central Columbia County in east central Georgia...
  Southern Lincoln County in east central Georgia...
  Northeastern McDuffie County in east central Georgia...
  West Central Edgefield County in central South Carolina...
  Southeastern McCormick County in central South Carolina...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 532 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Lincolnton, Hamilton Branch State Park, Parksville, Double 
  Branches, Cherokee Boat Ramp, New Hope, Knox Scout Reservation, 
  Bussey Point Campground, Woodlawn, Clay Hill Campground, Modoc 
  Boat Ramp, Modoc Campground, Modoc and Loce.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Most flooding deaths occur in vehicles. Never drive through a 
flooded roadway or around barricades. Turn around, don't drown.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
